Terms of Use

Last updated 30 July 2026

By creating an account or using Comunita you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a club, you also agree to them on that club's behalf.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep access to your email address secure. Accounts are created and accessed with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with Google sign-in — there is no password to share. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings.

2. Club membership

Clubs decide who may join, and club administrators can approve, suspend or remove memberships. Your access to a club's events, feed, announcements and rewards depends on your membership remaining active.

3. Acceptable use

Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful or misleading content, impersonate others, upload content you do not have the rights to, or attempt to access data belonging to other members or other clubs. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, posts and information you upload. You grant your club and Comunita the permission needed to display that content within the platform for the purpose of running the community.

5. Activities, safety and indemnity

Comunita is a coordination tool, not an organiser of physical activity. Participation in runs, hikes, rides, classes and other club activities is at your own risk, and responsibility for those activities rests with the club running them and with you.

Consents you give during registration, such as indemnity and media consent, apply to the club you register with.

6. Points, badges and rewards

Points and badges are a community engagement feature with no monetary value. Clubs may adjust, award or revoke them, and the platform may change how they are calculated.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and we will update these terms when the service changes materially.

8. Termination

You may stop using Comunita at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached.

This page is maintained by the Comunita team and describes how the platform works today. It is not a certification or independent audit. Individual clubs using Comunita are responsible for their own member communications and data-handling practices.
